Looking back on it there were issues. First, after I had my second daughter I was diagnosed with postpartum anxiety. And of course, we all know how that went. Things slowly escalated to psychosis and then eventually schizoaffective disorder-bipolar type became part of my life.
Wait, maybe I should back up
With my first child, I had anxiety, depression, and of course lack of sleep. It hit me like a ton of bricks. From going from normal sleep to no sleep and lack of self-care I was feeling miserable but I was somehow able to function.
Looking back on it I was having issues but not bad enough to seek help. I thought it was just part of having a newborn and of course, with no sleep, that didn’t help. I wish I could go back in time and do things differently, but of course, I can’t.
With hormones and lack of sleep, I think it was the perfect storm for my schizoaffective disorder to appear.
from what my doctors and therapist say it sounds like I had the disorder previously and then once everything got out of wack it appeared.
which makes sense looking back on it.
Thankfully now after having my third baby things are much better and im coping like a “normal person”.
regardless of who you are or what you do, mental health is important and it shouldn’t be skipped over or put aside. Take it seriously.

Glad it is better for you this time. I wish I could take all the bad parts from the past away. Love you & proud of you for putting yourself out there to help others.
I have OCD and understand the challenges of living with mental health problems. Blessings to you and yours!
